So I purchased a twisted fury today.  Apparently, all of the balls that I have are not properly fitted to me, and my proshop person is surprised that I can average 210 with my current 9 y/o equipment.  Well, I get to go pick it up tomorrow, so we will see how it does.  I will post stats when I get back from testing the new ball.

UPDATE: 12/28/07 - I picked up my twisted today.  Took it out on the lanes (which were dry) and shot 150, 199 (8 of 12, did not concentrate on spares, didn't even try to convert one), 212.  This all on a lot smaller thumbhole than I am used to, so learning to deal with that and not grip the ball with my thumb.  WOW!!! This ball is super bad....In a good way!  When I got it to the pocket, BAM!!!! it exploded and anihilated the pins.  It looked and sounded like a bomb detonating in the pocket.  I think I am going to LOVE this ball, can't wait to see what happens when I get it into some oil.  I was standing on 39, throwing 19, hitting 3 and breaking late.  It was awesome!.  Ball is drilled pap- 5 1/8" MB - 45 deg and that is all I can member.  Have fun and take care.

So there I was, a few weeks ago, couldn't hit anything for the life of me.  I decided that since the second game is over, and I have not been able to hit anything with my Tour Boss, that maybe I should go to my extreme hook, the PitBoss.  In doing this, I opened the third game with a strike, then two in a row, then three, and before I knew it I was at nine in a row.  By this time the nerves were kicking in, but I have done it before, so I thought, just do your preshot routine and throw a good ball.  Well I hit ten, then everyone started clapping and stopped bowling.  So I choked...left a 4-6-7 on the 11th.  Hmph oh well, maybe next time.  284, my second highest score ever.  Man, this year I am putting up some scores.
